1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Lumo ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Lumo is a mobile application that allows users to create daily reflections and transforms them into unique AI-generated artwork. The service includes:

  • Daily reflection journaling
  • AI-powered artwork generation
  • Personal gallery of generated art
  • Cloud storage of your reflections and artwork

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the reflections and content you create using Lumo. By using the App, you grant us:

  • A license to process your reflections to generate AI artwork
  • The right to store your content on our servers
  • Permission to use anonymous, aggregated data to improve our AI models

You are responsible for the content of your reflections and agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. AI-Generated Content

The artwork generated by Lumo is created using artificial intelligence based on your written reflections. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated artwork is unique and may vary in quality and interpretation
  • We do not guarantee specific artistic outcomes
  • Generated artwork is for personal use
  • You own the rights to artwork generated from your reflections

6. Subscription and Payment

Lumo may offer both free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store policies
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with advance notice

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use automated systems to access the App without permission
  • Resell or redistribute AI-generated content commercially

8. Intellectual Property

The Lumo app, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by Lumo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumo operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
